This visa is for talented individuals who wish to work in the UK in the fields of academia or research, arts and culture and digital technology. Applicants must gain an endorsement from a body engaged by the Home Office as well as provide substantial evidence of their work and support from experts in their field. If you live in the UK on a Global Talent visa, you can work either for an employer, as a director or be self-employed, change jobs without needing to reapply, do voluntary work and bring your dependants (partners and children under 18 years old)
Visa Duration
Applicants can apply to a visa between 1 and 5 years. There is no limit as to how many times extension can be applied for.
Permanent Settlement
Global Talent visa holders are eligible to apply for ILR, provided all criteria are met.
